logo_wellredcoyoteSedona AZ (June 16, 2013) – Kathy McIntosh, a freelance editor of fiction and business books, will conduct a special self-editing workshop for writers at The Well Red Coyote bookstore on Saturday, June 22 at 2:00 pm.

Just as painting can take more than one coat, even using the best of materials, our writing generally needs going over a few times before it’s ready for viewing. In this workshop, Idaho author, Kathy McIntosh, author of Mustard’s Last Stand, will review three necessary phases of self-editing fiction. In the first pass, we check for the essential elements of each scene. The second pass is a good time to check grammar and tighten our words. Next comes the polishing phase. She will discuss all three in depth. Kathy invites you to bring some of your work for feedback.
