logo_vvhsCottonwood AZ (December 28, 2018) – Verde Valley Humane Society is rolling out the red carpet, Wednesday, January 9th to show their appreciation for law enforcement personnel from the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Department, Cottonwood PD, Clarkdale PD, Camp Verde PD, Sedona PD, Jerome PD, the Yavapai Nation and beyond. All Arizona active and retired law enforcement are welcome.

“Police officers, sheriff’s deputies, and animal control officers are on the front lines almost daily, saving people and the pets they love” said VVHS Executive Director Tacy Pastor. “We want to be sure they know how much we appreciate their courage and compassion.”

Law enforcement personnel are invited to stop by Wednesday January 9th between 10 am and 5 pm for snacks and refreshments and to spend some quiet time de-stressing with adoptable pets decked out in law enforcement bandanas and blue and red flashing lights for their collars. Adoption fees for active and retired law enforcement will be waived all day thanks to generous VVHS sponsors who want to show their appreciation those who put their life on the line every day for their communities and who care enough for our four-legged friends to work to protect them.

We enter a new phase of war where the leaders are killed first rather than last as in conventional warfare.
