    Verde Valley News – Verde Valley Fire District is seeking applicants to fill a vacated seat on the Board of Directors. The term of office ends November 30, 2028. Candidates must meet the qualifications for holding an elected office, including having resided within the District boundaries for at least one year and being a registered voter of the District.

    The District covers the unincorporated areas surrounding the City of Cottonwood and includes the communities of Cornville, Page Springs and the Town of Clarkdale.

    If you are interested in a rewarding position of community service, we invite you to apply. Application packets are available at the District Office located at 2700 E. Godard Road, Cottonwood. Packets are also available at www.verdevalleyfire.org. For additional information call (928) 634-2578.

    A letter of interest, resume and completed application are due by 4:00 PM on January 6, 2025.
