City of Sedona ArizonaSedona AZ (April 2, 2012) – The installation of an 8 inch water main along the northbound lane of Posse Ground Road is scheduled to begin on Monday, April 9, 2012. The construction will take three weeks for completion and possibly longer depending on the excavation conditions. The northern end of Posse Ground Road will be affected starting from the intersection of Carruth and Posse Ground (the Sedona West School entry) going approximately 1,000 feet south on Posse Ground Road.

Posse Ground Road will remain open during construction, however, temporary lane closures and delays are expected. Both lanes will be open at the end of the work day and on the weekends. Posse Ground Park facilities will not be affected. School traffic is encouraged to use the Soldier’s Pass/Carruth route to the school. Minimizing traffic will help to complete the project faster and more safely.
