Sedona AZ (March 4, 2019) – The city of Sedona will assist Sedona residents with tree branch removal from last month’s snow storm.
Contractor Tiffany Construction Company will collect tree branches deposited street-side on March 11, 12 and 13, between the hours of 7 a.m. and 5 p.m.
You must have debris ready for pickup by 7 a.m. on March 11 even though it may not be collected until the 13th.
In order for tree debris to be efficiently collected, and for the safety of the crews and the community, it is important that tree debris is properly placed and meets these requirements:
– Place debris at the edge of the street where crews can easily see it. Do not block access to mailboxes, trash cans, utility meters, neighbors’ driveways or block traffic. Stay away from street corners where debris could limit visibility at the intersection.
– Crews will have chainsaws but if you can break down debris it will help speed the work. Good sizes are trunks or limbs equal to or smaller than 8 inches in diameter, 6 feet in length and 3 feet in spread.
– Only tree debris will be picked up, no other trash or yard waste.
– Minor tree debris that remains after pick-up is the responsibility of the resident / property owner.
