Sedona AZ (March 8, 2014) – The City of Sedona has installed three of five transit shelters along SR 89A in West Sedona near the Mountain Shadows, Coffee Pot, and Stuz Bearcat intersections. The shelters and associated concrete loading pads were completed in February 2014 using federal grant funding through ADOT. Pima Paving, Inc., a Tucson construction firm, installed the shelters.
Two additional transit shelter installations are currently under design for locations just west of the Dry Creek Road intersection and just east of the Andante Road intersection. Installation of these shelters is projected to be after July 2014.
