… even after retiring for the night after a long day … pleased with her work on the presentation tonight, One remains vigilant and looking for any sources of danger whilst stretched out on a very soft cloud at days end … eventually, when convinced that all is well, she will curl up on that very soft cloud bed and retire for the night. Think I am going there shortly. The venue at the library is fantastic and the picture quality remarkable … hope we get back there again.

Thanks to everyone in the Northern Arizona Audubon Society for the terrific welcome and privilege of presenting there this evening. Next event is Friday March 13th 4PM at the Mary Fisher Theater on SR89A in West Sedona. This will run about 90 minutes and time for Q and A afterwards. Another nice venue and comfortable seating. When they get the promo material up you will be able to purchase tickets online at: https://sedonafilmfestival.com/  This will be a very special program and again, brand new. Hope you will put it on your calendar and make it.

This is it for the week and I’ll be back Monday morning … have a wonderful weekend … smile a lot and be kind.

Cheers and lest you forget, keep breathing 🙂

The Sad Lesson of Tyre Nichols
    By Tommy Acosta
Having grown up in the mean streets of the Bronx there is one lesson we learn early on, and that’s don’t mess with the cops when they got you down, and outnumbered. The beating of Tyre Nichols at the hands of the police preceding his death at the hospital could have been avoided if only he had the sense to not resist them. People fail to understand that on the streets, cops are basically “God.” You can’t fight them. If it takes one, two, five, ten or twenty officers they will eventually put you down and hurt you if they have to in the process of detaining or arresting you. In the Bronx we would fight amongst ourselves but when the cops came it was “Yes, officer. No, officer,” and do our best to look as innocent as possible. People need to understand that cops on the street represent the full power of the state and government. Read more→
