By Ted Grussing
Several years ago when I was visiting Ted and Sus in Half Moon Bay we took a day trip to Napa Valley and on the way home we crossed the Bay Bridge and the scene just swept me away. Corky and I were early Star Trek fans and as you know San Francisco was headquarters for Star Trek Command … I took a bunch of pictures as Sus was driving us over the bridge knowing what I would do with them … a magical city and a magical place and hope you enjoy this image.
If all goes as planned we’ll be crossing the bridge again Thursday evening and I’ll probably take some more shots like this … never can tell what will be discovered.
No email tomorrow night, but resume on Thursday
Have a terrific day … look around you and smile, for life is very good!
Cheers
Ted
Give me a few friends who will love me for what I am;
and keep ever burning before my vagrant steps the kindly light of hope.
And though age and infirmity overtake me, and I come not within
sight of the castle of my dreams, teach me still to be thankful for life;
and for time’s olden memories that are good and sweet; and may
the evenings twilight find me gentle still.
