… the show: “The Beauty of Almost Everything” is up on the Sedona International Film Festival website now. It will be held in the Alice Gill-Sheldon theater which is very nice venue … there are only 43 seats in the theater, so it is a more intimate theater to conduct the show and allows for more interchange with the members of the audience. Tickets are available for purchase online now. The show will be on May 1st at 3:30PM and will feature some of the best photographs and photographic art I have produced in the last thirty years. Hope to see you there.

It was another beautiful day on the lake today … it marked three days in a row on it and as with every day it was incredibly beautiful. The photo above is of a common loon we saw in deep water at the lake today … he engaged in a little stretching and wing waving before settling into being a loon again and diving from view.

Below is another one of my one talon touching series which I got today. An Osprey taking to flight near the end of a bay from a tree limb in very shallow water … I also got a juvenile Bald Eagle doing the same in a different bay. With the water rising at about four inches a day, each time down there allows us to go further and further back into these narrow bays. What fun!

Into another day and closing the week out with some new adventures. Have a beautiful day and weekend … the plan is to be back Monday morning. Smile … you are here!

    Cheers,

    Ted

Love someone—in God’s name love someone—
for this is the bead of the inner life, without which
a part of you will starve and die; and though you feel
you must be stern, even hard, in your life of affairs
make for yourself at least a little corner, somewhere
in the great world, where you may unbosom and be
    kind.

It Takes a Lifetime and Sometimes Even More

    By Amaya  Gayle

Sedona, AZ — It takes a lifetime (perhaps lifetimes) of stretching and expanding, ripping and tearing, just to move through one’s predispositions, to meet one’s inbred resistance and evolve to the grace of simple tolerance. During this precious part of the journey, it feels like you are taking the steps, are choosing right, left or straight ahead, that you are in the game.
