By Ted Grussing
… When I looked at this shot it reminded me of a day years ago, when Corky and I flew up to the Grand Canyon … as we were coming home a Greenhead Mallard looking very much like this one, flew by us at 10,000’. I didn’t get a photo of him as I was too absorbed at looking at him and marveling at the steady beat of his wings as he passed us. We were doing about 60 knots and he was doing maybe 65 to 70 kts. I took this shot down at the ponds.
Missed sending a photo out last night so will make up for it tomorrow night.
Have a beautiful day … filled with joy and good health.
Smiles,
Ted
