… a quiet day spent relaxing and looking through photographs of the beauty of nature and I was in the exact spot to witness and be part of the beauty that I was taking in.
The photo above shows the view before me as I returned to the Sedona area after a cross country flight in, Mariah, my Lambada Motorglider. The propeller is feathered to reduce the drag whilst soaring and the Sedona Airport is just above the nose of Mariah. From here, I continued the turn right and once on the other side of the airport I hung a left and entered the downwind segment for landing at Sedona (KSEZ) on runway 03. Runways are numbered by the nearest compass alignment and drop the last digit. Runway 03 would be a compass alignment of 030 degrees and its opposite Runway 21, 210 degrees. What a beautiful day it was.
Below is a shot I took of the Pacific Ocean at Monterey, California … the surf was running about 20 feet and the sound was deafening … and beyond beautiful.
Have a beautiful day and experience life, it is up to us to enjoy it. Smile, be kind and keep breathing!
Cheers,
Ted

may my thoughts and actions be such as
shall keep me friendly with myself.
