… a terrific day today and thanks to everyone who came out for my show at the Alice Gill-Sheldon Theater this afternoon and hope you enjoyed it as much as I did … next show will be in the Mary D. Fisher Theater next September of October.

On November 16th Michele Losee, PhD will be doing a show in the Alice Gill-Sheldon Theater celebrating World Falconry Day. She will have five birds with her and you will learn about the history and development of the sport of falconry … it will be a great opportunity for you to learn more about these magnificent birds … I will be doing about a ten minute presentation of photos of the birds. It should be on the theaters website by mid-week.

I got this photo of a Common Black Hawk Friday at Bubbling Ponds Fish Hatchery in Page Springs … he is perched on one foot with the other one tucked up and talons appearing over the abdomen … reminds me of the formal portraits that we taken in the 1800’s … so serious 🙂

Below is a photo of Katie that I used in the show today … my Executive Producer and Dispute Resolution Specialist … she was on the way to resolve a dispute with a vendor … she returned later, everything was resolved and she had only used half a belt of 12.7 mm rounds for the M2 Browning machine guns in the wings! She is very persuasive!

Into a new week … choose to have a good day … you are the only one who can make it so! Keep breathing and smile!

    Cheers,

    Ted

For a few hours here in the still morning I wash myself
clean of civilization, and purge myself of things and
    the accumulated rubbish of time.

I push back history, dismiss interpreters, and stand
erect before the dawn, looking the universe in the face,
    and asking my own questions.

To-morrow I shall return to the human wheels; but
now I defy the world of customs and laws, of sophistry
and serfdom; and I yield myself childlike to the light
and the air and the sweet-scented dew.

A bird flies through the sky and I fly with it. I am in
each pearl of moisture sparkling in the sun. I lie lazy
on the clouds. And I acknowledge my kinship with
    each winged thing.

I see all as one. and nothing repels me, as this new
day climbs noiselessly out of the valley of night.

Peace lies over the world and over the world of my soul.

It Takes a Lifetime and Sometimes Even More

    By Amaya  Gayle

Sedona, AZ — It takes a lifetime (perhaps lifetimes) of stretching and expanding, ripping and tearing, just to move through one’s predispositions, to meet one’s inbred resistance and evolve to the grace of simple tolerance. During this precious part of the journey, it feels like you are taking the steps, are choosing right, left or straight ahead, that you are in the game.
