… a long but fun day as we drove up to Peach Springs in search of raptors and critters of all kinds. We were spectacularly unsuccessful finding only a single Red Tail Hawk perched on a pole with his head bisected by power lines … few ravens and that was about it. Stopped by a friends home on the way back and had a nice visit and got some shots of their Alpacas one of which is above … brings a smile to your face!
The shot below I took a number of years ago when I was ridge soaring the peaks … it was very cool, both the soaring and the temperature and this was a thought I kept in my mind all day … COOL!
Have a beautiful day … we are here!
Cheers,
Ted
Take kindly the counsel of the years, gracefully
surrendering the things of youth. Nurture strength
of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune.
But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings.
Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness.
Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with
yourself. You are a child of the universe no less
than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be
here. And whether or not it is clear to you, no
doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.
