… more from the trip to the plateau on Tuesday with the shot of our friendly carnivore Osprey above making it away from the nest with a fistful of fish he grabbed on the way out of the nest … it had already started raining and thus the darkened sky. Guess the fish looks pretty good although not quite as neat a butchering job as we humans do before placing fish fillets in the meat racks at the store. Still, considering that he only has his talons and beak to the work, pretty nice job!
The Grebe in the photo below the text shows our little guy after just coming up with some rather delectable looking greens … no competition trying to take it away from him, so he is just taking his time and enjoying the meal. No eagles nearby that would like to have him for dinner either so a great day in the neighborhood!
Into the weekend and it hardly seems possible as the week has gone so fast! Enjoy the days and live them fully … smile and keep breathing … back Monday morning!
Cheers,
Ted
To-morrow, O to-morrow!
Fast fall the fading years. A thought, a dream
Of gentle words; of faith and love a theme;
A smile, a step or two, and all is done.
Quick is the veering stream of life full run;
Yet in the crimson west still gleam
To-morrow and to-morrow’s endless dream.
