… beauty surrounds us no matter where we go … some of it is created by man and some created by nature!

I was on the floor doing exercises a couple of days ago and I looked up at the sculpture of Athena which was created by Heather Soderberg-Greene and a shaft of morning sun was illuminating her … grabbed a camera, back to the floor and spent five minutes shooting the beauty before resuming my exercises. There is enormous creative energy in each of us and some have the skill to create art like this. Be sure to visit the website and check out her eagle project … it has a 55-foot wingspan, and the final bronze will weigh about 16,000 pounds!

Below is a shot of the western slopes of the San Francisco shot from just south and west of them. Humphreys Peak is in the clouds on the left and Agassiz on the right. That beautiful Arizona blue sky, clouds fall color and snow. Humphreys Peak is the highest point in Arizona at 12,637 feet MSL. Snow Bowl runs can be seen below center on the left. One of the most wondrous sights I have seen on the Plateau, and we had nothing to do with it … just enjoyment.

Into yet another beautiful week … we are here and are able to experience life with all the beauty and pitfalls of life. Seek, find and enjoy that which is good … always your choice.

    With joy!

    Ted

Your first duty is to learn to live in the world, for
    to this you are born.

But meantime, make for yourself a secret room in the
inner house of consciousness, where you may rest from
the strain of the world, and disentangle yourself from
that which is unworthy of your soul.

Into this room let no unsympathetic person enter, for
he would laugh at you in the temple of your better self.

Yet, in a long time, perhaps some one who understands
will pass the door. And who shall say what your life
    may be from that hour!

It Takes a Lifetime and Sometimes Even More

    By Amaya  Gayle

Sedona, AZ — It takes a lifetime (perhaps lifetimes) of stretching and expanding, ripping and tearing, just to move through one’s predispositions, to meet one’s inbred resistance and evolve to the grace of simple tolerance. During this precious part of the journey, it feels like you are taking the steps, are choosing right, left or straight ahead, that you are in the game.
