Winding up a rather crazy week, and enjoying having my daughter Sus here for a few days … looking forward to a quiet week coming up and leaving it pretty much a wide open week.

SPEX, Sedona Philosophy Experience, is having a free Philosophical Dialogue in the Visitors Center at Red Rock State Park at9AM Saturday  morning followed by a guided hike in the park.

Saturday evening enjoy the music of Anthony Mazzella from 6 to 8PM at TIMO in Las Abrigados.

Have a terrific weekend and back Monday morning … smile and enjoy the day and above all keep breathing.

    Cheers

For a few hours here in the still morning I wash myself clean of civilization, and purge myself of things and the accumulated rubbish of time.
I push back history, dismiss interpreters, and stand erect before the dawn, looking the universe in the face, and asking my own questions.
Tomorrow I shall return to the human wheels; but now I defy the world of customs and laws, of sophistry and serfdom; and I yield myself childlike
to the light and the air and the sweet scented dew.

What is a life anyway? A single “life?” Is it nothing more than a collection of emotions and thoughts, reverberating pain and pleasure, hopes, dreams and fear? Are we merely meat; flesh and blood creations encapsulating what we believe is a soul? Or is a single life the microcosm and macrocosm of human life on earth, each one of us a unique representation of who we believe we are and the whole of humanity at once? We are born. We grow old. We die. Everything we experience is but a dream between those two points. Or are we manifestations of a Divine Creator, every one of us complete in the image that we were made? So, we are told.
