… on the way back from Lake Pleasant today, a friend and I were discussing an appropriate caption for the photos I was lucky enough to get today … this unnamed friend (Guy) suggested the caption “Carpe Diem” and it sounded crazy enough that I thought it was a terrific idea. So here are three of about 600 hundreds shots of a coyote who was hunting food down at the lake today including his score of a very large carp.

The coyote dined very well today and it is the first time I have ever gotten shots like this. Just another reminder that if you work hard, study and learn your profession and keep putting yourself out there, you can get lucky! Actually in our family we have always used the phrase “Good Skill!” We do not believe in luck. Sorry to everyone out there who like to use the phrase “Carpe Diem” ,,, it will never be the same again … sorry Mary. The coyote definitely seized (carpe) the diem …?

You can see a lot of Guy’s work on his website Explore The Light , he is one of the finest landscape photographers that I know and he excels in wildlife and other areas too.

Busy rest of the week coming up … work on the presentations to the photography classes at the high school all day on Friday, get togethers with friends and engagement in and enjoyment of life … we are so blessed!

Have a joyful day and share it with those you meet and greet … might as well spread your joy, the world needs it.

    Cheers,

    Ted
