    Sedona Village Rotary Club Presents the Fall Monarch Festival: A Free Community Celebration and Plant Sale

    Sedona News – The Sedona Village Rotary Club, in partnership with Milkweeds for Monarchs, is delighted to announce the Fall Monarch Festival, a special free event open to all. Mark your calendars for Saturday, October 19th, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Rotary Community Garden, conveniently located off Verde Valley School Road at the former Big Park School baseball field.

    *Face Painting:** Let the little ones transform into their favorite creatures with colorful face art.

    *Baked Goods:** Savor delicious treats prepared by local bakers, perfect for a morning snack.

    *Local Honey Products:** Explore and purchase a selection of honey products from Sedona Bee Company, our esteemed partner organization.

    Sedona Gift Shop

    *Educational Presentations:** Gain insights from experts with engaging talks by Milkweeds for Monarchs, the International Hummingbird Society, and Gardens for Humanity members, focusing on the conservation and support of monarch butterflies and hummingbirds, as well as companion planting for a fall season.

    “We are excited to host the Fall Monarch Festival as a way to bring our community together while highlighting the importance of preserving our local pollinators,” said Jane Peck , Master Gardener.”This event offers something for everyone, from fun activities for children to informative presentations for adults, all set in the beautiful Rotary Community Garden.”

    • Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
    • Location: Rotary Community Garden, off Verde Valley School Road, former Big Park School baseball field, Oak Creek, AZ
    • Admission: Free and open to the public

    Families are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy all the activities and secure a comfortable spot for the presentations. The Rotary Community Garden provides a picturesque setting, making it the perfect venue for a morning of community engagement and environmental education.
