Sedona Heritage MuseumSedona AZ (November 18, 2020) – The Sedona Heritage Museum is hosting a special collection of decorated vignettes, calling them their “Christmas in the Park” holiday photo opportunities, beginning November 16, 2020 through January 1, 2021. The exterior scenes are available during daylight hours and the interior scenes from 11:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m., which are regular Museum hours.

The different vignettes include the historic firetruck and an antique buggy decked out with red bows and ready for their close-ups. The Museum’s traditional tumbleweed ‘snowman’ will greet all guests at the front door and can be the centerpiece of any family group photo. The historic buildings that house the Museum all have colorful wreaths and bows to provide festive backdrops for photos. Families can pose with the reindeer cutout ‘herd’ on the front lawn.

During this time of covid, the Museum is offering these opportunities instead of their usual holiday event schedule with the hope that residents and visitors will still be able to make memories at the Museum.

    Sedona Gift Shop

Holiday shopping in the Museum’s Gift Shop will continue to be available, again, during regular Museum hours. The Gift Shop carries many items made by local artists and crafters, along with unusual gift selections for both kids and adults.

The Sedona Heritage Museum is on the National Register of Historic Places, and located at 735 Jordan Rd. in Jordan Historical Park in Uptown Sedona. For more information, call the museum at 928-282-7038.

Are we merely meat; flesh and blood creations encapsulating what we believe is a soul? Or is a single life the microcosm and macrocosm of human life on earth, each one of us a unique representation of who we believe we are and the whole of humanity at once? We are born. We grow old. We die. Everything we experience is but a dream between those two points. Or are we manifestations of a Divine Creator, every one of us complete in the image that we were made? So, we are told.
