Sedona AZ (October 27, 2015) – The Sedona Heritage Museum’s annual Veteran’s Day Tribute will be on Wednesday, November 11th beginning at 11:00 a.m. at the Museum. This event has become the community’s official Veterans Day event. The tribute will honor veterans and active service people.
Veteran’s and active military members and their families will be honored guests, but residents are invited to come and meet and thank in-person those who served our country or continue to serve.
The program begins with a Flag Ceremony presented by the Sedona Boy Scout Troop 48 & Cub Scouts. Featured speakers will be Mayor Sandy Moriarty, Yavapai County Supervisor Chip Davis, and Coconino County Supervisor Matt Ryan.
USO-Style entertainment will fill the Museum’s historic shed when Tom and Shondra Jepperson take the stage to perform a mini show of songs that will honor veterans including several American classics. Vocalist Katherine LaTorraca will perform a patriotic music selection.
Light lunch will be served by Museum volunteers, with the help of food host Jerona Java Cafe.
Shuttle service will be provided from nearby parking lots just off Jordan Road; watch for the signs.
