    Sedona Fire District Urges Residents to Sign Up for Emergency Alerts

    Sedona Fire DistrictSedona AZ (June 23, 2021) – Command staff at Sedona Fire District is working in close coordination the incident command teams for nearby wildfires and continues to closely monitor the situation as it evolves.  Recent conditions on the Rafael fire have allowed the fire to move closer to the action points in the far northwest corner of our fire district.  As the fire approaches these action points, we urge all residents to stay up to date on the latest fire information and be prepared to act in the case that an evacuation or other actions become necessary.

    Residents and visitors are urged to do their part by signing up for emergency alerts with the appropriate agency and staying up to date with the latest information.

    Yavapai County residents should download the CodeRED app and sign up for alerts at https://www.ycsoaz.gov/community/Emergency-Preparedness/Emergency-Notification-System
