“Lover Of Men” widens its lens into the history of human sexual fluidity and focuses on the profound differences between sexual mores of the nineteenth century and those we hold today. The film fills in an important missing piece of American history and challenges the audience to consider why we hold such a limited view of human sexuality.

“Lover Of Men” is not only an exploration of gender roles and sexual identity, but also serves as an examination of American intolerance.

“Lover of Men: The Untold History of Abraham Lincoln” will be shown at the Mary D. Fisher and Alice Gill-Sheldon Theatres Oct. 18-24. Showtimes will be Friday, Oct. 18 at 4:00 and 7:00 p.m.; Saturday, Oct. 19 at 12:30 p.m.; Monday, Oct. 21 at 7:00 p.m.; and Tuesday and Thursday, Oct. 22 and 24 at 4:00 p.m.

Tickets are $12 general admission, or $9 for Film Festival members. For tickets and more information, please call 928-282-1177. Both the theatre and film festival office are located at 2030 W. Hwy. 89A, in West Sedona.  For more information, visit: www.SedonaFilmFestival.org.
