Sedona News – The Sedona International Film Festival is proud to present the Northern Arizona premiere of “Protocol 7” showing Aug. 16-22 at the Mary D. Fisher Theatre.
Based on real-life events, comes the corporate thriller “Protocol 7”, starring Rachel Whittle, Matthew Marsden and Eric Roberts.
Alexis Koprowski, a devoted mother and small-town family lawyer, Adrian Jay, a renegade doctor exiled from the medical profession, and Steve Schilling, a virologist at a prominent vaccine laboratory turned corporate whistleblower, work together to hold a large pharmaceutical corporation accountable for allegedly fraudulent test results behind a failing mumps vaccine.
“Protocol 7” takes us behind the corporate curtain, exposing a chain of command that devolves responsibility, prioritizes profits over people, and fosters an amoral mindset of “just following orders.”
“Making this film has provided an opportunity to bring to public attention, not only the tragedy of vaccine injury in the form of autism, but also one of the most influential aspects of my clinical experience, the power and importance of a mother’s instinct,” said filmmaker Andy Wakefield. “Alexis Koprowski, the film heroine, captures the reality of this indomitable instinct.”
“Protocol 7” will be shown at the Mary D. Fisher Theatre Aug. 16-22. Showtimes will be Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 16, 17 and 18 at 7:00 p.m.; and Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, Aug. 20, 21 and 22 at 4:00 p.m.
