Sedona News – The Sedona International Film Festival is proud to present the Northern Arizona premiere of “Fingernails” showing Nov. 10-15 at the Mary D. Fisher Theatre.

Anna (Jessie Buckley) and Ryan (Jeremy Allen White) were a happy couple until technology proves they're not the best choice for each other, which makes her start to believe she may not be in love at all in “Fingernails”.
Anna (Jessie Buckley) and Ryan (Jeremy Allen White) were a happy couple until technology proves they’re not the best choice for each other, which makes her start to believe she may not be in love at all in “Fingernails”.

“Fingernails” stars an exceptional ensemble cast led by Jessie Buckley, Riz Ahmed, Jeremy Allen White and Luke Wilson.

In the present-day-adjacent time period where “Fingernails” unfolds, technology is used to predict true love.  Anna (Buckley) and Ryan (White) were a happy couple until technology proves they’re not the best choice for each other, which makes her start to believe she may not be in love at all.

In an attempt to improve things, Anna secretly embarks on a new assignment working at a mysterious institute designed to incite and test the presence of romantic love in increasingly desperate couples. It is there she meets Amir who adds a whole new twist to the plot.

“Fingernails” will be shown at the Mary D. Fisher Theatre Nov. 10-15. Showtimes will be Friday, Saturday and Tuesday, Nov. 10, 11 and 14 at 7:00 p.m.; and Sunday and Wednesday, Nov. 12 and 15 at 4:00 p.m.

Tickets are $12, or $9 for Film Festival members. For tickets and more information, please call 928-282-1177. Both the theatre and film festival office are located at 2030 W. Hwy. 89A, in West Sedona. For more information, visit: www.SedonaFilmFestival.org.
