City of Sedona ArizonaSedona AZ (August 14, 2017) – Celebrate the history of Posse Grounds Park at the first ever Sedona Family Foot Rodeo.

Did you know that Posse Grounds Park was once home to the Coconino Sheriff’s Posse rodeo grounds? And that the Posse held weekly rodeos where our ball fields are now located?

You’re invited to join us on Friday, Aug. 18, from 4-7 p.m. for the Sedona Family Foot Rodeo, held at the park located at 525 Posse Ground Rd. This free family event will include bounce horse barrel racing, mechanical bull riding, dummy calf roping, inflatable wild cow milking, pony rides, a petting zoo, music by the Dan and Dave Rice Band, and live cowboy shoot-outs by the Red Rock Posse. Food will be available for purchase on site.

People need to understand that cops on the street represent the full power of the state and government. Read more→
