Sedona AZ (May 31, 2018) – The city is now accepting applications for one seat on the Sedona Public Safety Personnel Retirement System (PSPRS) local board.
The board administers the pension system for the Sedona Police Department and follows the rules of the PSPRS system and Arizona Revised Statutes. Additionally, the board makes decisions for Sedona police officers on issues such as membership in the system and approving retirements and service purchase requests.
Meetings are scheduled as needed and are required at least twice a year by state statute. The term is four years, and those interested must live within city limits. Board members are volunteers and serve without pay.
