City of Sedona ArizonaSedona AZ (April 26, 2014) – Northern Arizona Watercolor Society (NAWS) paintings are now being exhibited in the Sedona City Hall Chambers through June 25, 2014. Twenty-four artists contributed to this varied and expansive spring exhibit of beautiful wall-sized works.

The Northern Arizona Watercolor Society was founded to create, foster and sustain interest in the art of water media painting and is dedicated to promoting watercolor painting throughout Arizona.  NAWS sponsors educational programs and workshops at their monthly meetings, both of which are available to the general public.

NAWS has an extensive library for members and sponsors exhibitions for members, which are juried by nationally known artists.  Also available for educational purposes are critique groups and plein air painting events.

The public is welcome to view this wonderful exhibit during regular City Hall hours from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., when the Vultee Conference room is not in use.  For more information or to schedule an exclusive viewing, please contact Nancy Lattanzi, Arts & Culture Coordinator at 928-203-5078, or email NLattanzi@SedonaAZ.gov.
