logo_cwag3Prescott AZ (April 25, 2014) – Learn to save water beautifully by landscaping with native plants. Steve Miller, co-owner of The Native Garden in Prescott, will show you the best plants to use and how to care for them with water conservation in mind when he speaks to the Citizens Water Advocacy Group on Saturday, May 10 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Granite Peak Unitarian Universalist Congregation, 882 Sunset in Prescott (two blocks behind True Value).

20140425_cwagMiller will describe the benefits of beautifying your yard with low water use native plants, provide easy steps for getting started, bring live plants to examine, and explain how to attract hummingbirds and butterflies, while keeping javelina and deer from eating the fruits of your labor. He will also discuss growing vegetables and using water catchment systems for irrigation.
