Verde Valley News – Camp Verde Community Library and Home for New Beginnings, a local non-profit dedicated to building homes for children in the Verde Valley, is excited to announce the return of their popular Farm to Table Cooking Class for children ages 5-17. The three-week, monthly program will begin on September 4th at 4:00 PM in the Terracotta Room of Camp Verde Community Library.

This initiative aims to teach children the essential skills of gardening, harvesting, cooking, and potentially managing a kitchen. The classes will be held on the first three Wednesdays of each month. The first two sessions will focus on cooking techniques and will take place at the Camp Verde Community Library. The third session each month will be hosted at Home for New Beginnings’ new garden location.

    Compassion Has no Party

Whether you are Republican or Democrat, liberal or conservative, one truth remains: the vast majority of people on this planet are, at their core, decent. They believe in fairness, in dignity, and in the simple idea that other human beings matter.
