Sedona News – Emerson Theater Collaborative is pleased to announce that Craig Schneider has joined its Board of Directors, bringing valuable expertise in the financial arena to further the organization’s mission, which is to explore timely themes and issues through new, original works and modern theatrical classics. They develop and nurture both emerging and professional artists and collaborate across the artistic disciplines.

Craig Schneider is a recognized leader in the financial planning, insurance, personnel management and sales sectors. with a proven track record of serving the following businesses during his long career: Erie Malleable Iron Company (Assistant Personal Manager), Mutual of Omaha (Insurance and Registered Representative), Highmark Blue Cross/Shield (Account Sales Manager), Prudential (Financial Planner), Humana (Sales Executive for N. Arizona). He has a BA from Penn State University, MA from Indiana University of PA, Certified Employee Benefit Specialist designation from the Wharton School of Business. Series 6 and Series 7 financial securities licenses.
In addition, Schneider has had a love of the non-profit theatre arena for many years. He successfully directed sixteen theater productions in Erie, PA; he received the Jefferson Award twice for public service for his work with disabled and minority actors in the United We Stand Theatre Troupe. Schneider was also an Independent writer of theater reviews for two publications in NW PA. He has performed a one-man 90-minute play for 15 performances. He has achieved the rank of Senior Master from the United States Chess Federation.
