This informative and interactive seminar covers “need to know” topics including phases of development, how dogs think, ritualized behavior, canine negotiating signals, calming signals, common problems, communicating with our dogs, training, and proper socialization. On Sunday, July 17, from 4:15 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. is the Puppy Seminar. This seminar covers puppy behavior, puppy problem solving, how puppies learn, proper socialization, the critical phases of development, breed specifics, puppy training and more. It is a great seminar for anyone either considering getting a new puppy or if you already have one and would like more information on how to raise them properly. Both of these seminars will be held in the Recreation Room at Posse Grounds Park, 525 Posse Ground Road in Sedona.

On Tuesday, July 26, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., we will be offering Understanding Canine Body Language Seminar in the Vultee Conference Room located in the Sedona City Hall Complex at 102 Roadrunner Drive. Learn to read your dog’s signals such as what are they trying to communicate to you or other dogs. Avoid problems before they occur and learn what warning signs predict aggressive actions. Learn about fear, stress, calming signals, negotiating signals and other forms of body language communication to be able to understand and communicate with your dog.
