Sedona, AZ –Never have I been so happy to be so wrong. I was so sure that Big Pharma and Big Food would derail the confirmation of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. as the Health and Human Services secretary.

I would have bet my bippy that there would be enough Republican lawmakers under the influence of the pharmaceutical and food industries to prevent him from assuming that cabinet post.

I guess the lawmakers were more afraid of Trump’s wrath than causing Big Pharma and company, unneeded stress.

From the get-go, I’ve been in total agreement with Kennedy, even when he was a Democrat, that the food we eat is the reason we have so much illness and obesity in our country, and is the driving force behind our need to take every prescription drug imaginable to stay alive.

It’s the damaging qualities of the unhealthy diets Americans have, especially our youth, who have been dumbed down to the point where we have the slowest students on the planet, that Kennedy has tried to expose.

The question is, what could he do to reverse the trajectory of an unhealthy America hooked on drugs, sugar, chemically laden foods and indolence.

Hopefully, his lone voice will not be the only one in the wilderness, and he will get the support of congress, from both sides of the aisle, to allow him to make the changes he needs, to accomplish his mission of making America healthy again, although I can’t think of when it ever was.

Almost every other developed country in the world has banned additives and chemicals known to cause cancer and other deadly illnesses.

Yet, here in America, considered the most enlightened developed country on the planet, chemicals in our food are allowed to proliferate, and everyone turns their heads.

Perhaps Kennedy will be able to spearhead legislative efforts to better serve the best interests, health-wise, of our country. I remain dubious though, considering what he is up against. Yet, I am hopeful at the same time.

As the head of HHS, Kennedy will oversee the Food and Drug Administration, the National Institutes of Health, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

He has vowed to eliminate harmful and useless vaccines, food additives that cause harm,  but the question arises how well he will do going toe-to-toe with Big Pharma and a food industry that relies on chemicals to make their food products last longer on the shelves and be more appealing to sight and taste.

Good luck Bobby, although much to my surprise and chagrin, not to mention public shame and humiliation, you were confirmed, even though I said you stood as much of a chance of being confirmed as a “snowflake in hell,” during the summer.

    My apologies…

Again, I can only point to the fear lawmakers have of disobeying the president, especially now as he grows more powerful every day, as to why congress double-crossed Big Pharma and Big Food.

I wish Kennedy success in making America Healthy again. But I fear Big Pharma and Big Food are not done with him yet.

Our food in America has much to be desired but our vaccines are not the problem! The problem is the idiots who refuse to comply with science and take them. If Kennedy could get over his vaccine bullshit and lies and focus on food quality or the very lack there of he’d get my vote every time. Instead he is a COVID denying anti vaxer whose own family and wife have spoken out against for being out of touch with reality when it comes to vaccines and herd immunity.

Well just another unqualified idiot to help ruin our country!

What you like a environmental lawyer telling Drs what to do?

I have some electrical problems at my home, I better call the maid, hell she knows how to plug in the vacuum she must know lots about electricity!

You’re just watching a bunch of spinless Republicans just, let whatever happen, happen!
But then again they are the party who hates government, never fixes, always complains about it!

So next time you hear Republicans complain about things going wrong, look them straight in the eyes and tell them they created the mess!

So how soon before a major terror attack? Weeks, months? Not to worry we have unqualifyed people in every cabinet post!

Thank you, Tommy; you have “redeemed” yourself. His and TULSI’s clearance this week were almost more joy than my old heart handle.

RFK Jr. the COVID denier and anti vaxer is the absolute worse thing for this country still reeling from 1 million plus COVID deaths and Avian Flu, TB and the Measles in full effect now thanks to the ignorance of science deniers refusing to do the bare minimum in order to prevent more unnecessary deaths.

In rural West Texas, a measles outbreak grows with no end in sight

I guess shutting down the NIH, CDC and FDA will keep Americans ignorant to what is actually killing them just as when Trump lied and called COVID “Kung Flu” and the “sniffles” while having been briefed that COVID was a previously unknown Bio Weapon that leaked from a Chinese Bio Weapons Laboratory. Must be that MAGA ignorance is ignorant bliss?

THere are more measles outbreaks in Texas today that in thirty years. Kennedy said he deeply regretted his kids were vaccinated.

    We Have Been Thoroughly Trained!
    By Amaya Gayle Gregory

Throughout the years, we have been trained. Part of the training is to see others as trained, but not ourselves. Even though we are the others that others are trained to see as trained, we tend to miss that little nuance. The training says we must know what’s right and speak out when we see something that runs contrary to our understanding of rightness. We don’t stop to realize that what we see as right isn’t exactly right or it would be the right version that everyone in their right mind knew as right. There are billions of versions of right but ours is the only real right one. Seems fishy, doesn’t it? We spend our days, our lives, catching others — the wrong ones — doing and saying things in support of their versions of right and our training has us jumping on the critical bandwagon lest we be painted in support of the wrong right. What in this crazy world moves us with such amazing force to crave rightness, to need to be seen as right? Read more→
