Clarkdale AZ (October 19, 2016) – The Clarkdale Downtown Business Alliance and Made In Clarkdale are organizing the 1st Annual HOWL-O-WEEN event for our fur friends (dogs) and their owners on Saturday, October 29, 2016 from10am to 1pm at the Clarkdale Town Park located at 11th and Main in historic downtown Clarkdale.
The pet festival and costume contest will include the following doggie activities – Bobbing for hot dogs, Cornhole toss, Nail painting for dogs, Take a Photo with your fur friend and Yappy hour! We will also have dog training demonstrations and speakers on best dog leashes to use, safe holidays for dogs, dog health, and more! Several of our local vendors – Paws on Main, Olsen’s Grain, Pet Sense, and TimberWoof Pet Boutique & Accessories will be there too with special treats for your pet.
Clarkdale Market will be there offering their wonderful food treats and drinks to those who get hungry during the event! Dress up in your best Halloween costume of you and your pet and be a part of the Costume contest where you can win Best of Show prizes.
Bring a bag of dog or cat food and you will get “Doggy Dollars” to participate in the activities or you can buy “Doggy Dollars” at the park! Proceeds from Howl-o-ween will go to benefit Jerome Human Society and Verde Valley Human Society animal rescue and adoption programs.
