    City of Sedona ArizonaSedona AZ (March 11, 2020) – With the coronavirus outbreak and its potential effects, it is a top priority at the city of Sedona to keep the community safe and informed.

    The city, in coordination with Coconino and Yavapai counties, is monitoring the situation daily and following the guidelines set-forth by the federal, state and county government and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). At this time there is no domestic travel ban.

      Please keep me informed of any diagnosed cases of CV in Sedona and or the Verde Valley. Please keep me informed of buildings closures, etc.

      And, since there is some evidence that the places hardest hit by the virus, are also the places that have extensive 5G already implemented, I would ask that you put a moratorium on any further deployment of 5G in our city until further research and evidence is ready.

      I am one of the local ‘healers’ in town, so many people from all over pass in and out of my life. I would like neither to be explored nor to inadvertently expose others.

        Marianna, the reason why places with 5G have more cases of the virus is because large cities with 5G have more people living closer together. Smaller towns such as Sedona have less people, which automatically means less transmission between people. It has nothing to do with the lack of technology.

          Please do not assume that 5g and cell phone towers have zero impact on human lungs! You work at a media outlet and do not have scientific info. You should at the very least reply that you don’t have any information on 5g from your local govt office right now! Instead of, offering your own opinion on why 5gs effect human beings closer to each other in a city. In fact, it’s rude and passive aggressive to shoot down valid information and research her suggestions!…

          You need to actually study the 5G first before making an informed decision re any 5G connection. There are Dr’s and scientists even urging to stop 5G. It iwven appears to be leaning towards a connection to Covid,19, and it also separately has huge I’ll effects upon the body as well. There are some really good videos for you to catch up on. The outbreaks are worse in areas of 5G. It’s been noted by millions about this already, and with precise detail. It is scary to think that people who live in more rural communities think 5G is ok. But if I’m not mistaken Sedona is a huge tourist location and it could well see its first case.There is a video that shined a little light on 5G and its relationship to Civid-19. Just something to take it or leave it, but at the very least watch it so you can decide better andccx with more informed knowledge.         Look I see that some people just aren’t aware that this world ias a business. The powers that be ,{ The AMA, The Bar association, ie..} all are pocket partners. For example , Flu vaccines. Have you noticed how hard those shots are pushed. Who’s to say that there wasn’t something in the chemical compound make-up that lay dormant until 5G was implemented. We are so far advanced in nano technology and biomechanics . we are all ALCHEMIST. We ingest one product and produce another. Keeping in mind that you can go to your pharmacy and not be able to afford the medicine that keepd you alive but they will give you a fglu shot for free. does that sound right. Free? anyway I agree with you. The residents of Sedona already in crazy ley line central combined with 5g coverage may be alchemy as well.Wake Up people.. Thanks Marianne for your input.         From Yavapai County Community Health Services, as of March 16, 10am:

        There are currently 18 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Arizona:
        • 8 in Maricopa
        • 4 in Pima
        • 5 in Pinal
        • 1 in Graham
        NONE in Yavapai County

        Current Public Health Recommendations:
        -Cancel or postpose mass gatherings with 50 or more people.
        -State-wide closures of AZ schools from Monday, March 16 – Friday, March 27, 2020.
        -Implement telework and other alternatives when available.
        -Increase hand hygiene.
        -Stay home when you are sick.
        -Implement visitor screening or limit visitors for healthcare facilities and congregate areas.

          I WANT to visit your beautiful city. We actually have reservations at a Air B&B and planed to arrive March 31st. But given the circumstances and my friends and I are coming from two different states we certainly don’t want to be exposed in the airport or put ourselves in danger.

          Problem is, the owner of the Air B&B will not refund us and insist all is fine and we should continue with our plans.

          We feel like that is unnecessarily putting people at risk for the “almighty dollar”

            The median age is Sedona is 59.4 years. With a population consisting of many seniors, please consider our residents when deciding to visit here. It might be best to stay home for now to prevent the spread of this deadly virus.
            Work with your short term rental owner to reschedule for another time.

      Good thing everybody is stocked up on toilet paper right now because when the truth about these “conspiracy theories” (particularly 5G) really start to come out, the world is going to sh!t their pants.

      The hysteria about 5G which is printed above is not only outlandish but absolute proof that our education system is a total failure. Those folks making these dire predictions should instead just rely on their weegy boards. Or maybe I am too gullible and they all are comedians trying to make me laugh in these troubling times.

      Wow!! Came here to look for update on Carona, what business open, what the powers to be are doing (who ever they are?) …in Sedona and VOC. Can’t believe the concern is 5G! Great job! In my opinion the area should have been shut down to non residents two weeks ago. We have a large percent of people who are seniors and people with health issues that we had a moral obligation to. Let alone we don’t even have a enough Doctors in a “normal” time.
