By David Stephen Sedona, AZ — Where is human consciousness based? If human anatomy and physiology were explored, the nervous system would be the choice. The brain is the principal organ in the nervous system. The brain is correlated with several functions—from studies in neuroscience—such that, if parts of the brain were lost, some functions could be lost. If there are problems with the brain, regular functions may become problematic. This indicates that whatever an individual is conscious about is mechanized, largely, by the brain. So, what, in the brain, sets consciousness? How does it work to make consciousness viable?…

It is a good thing that the one who cared is no longer in charge because being misunderstood always felt like pouring acid in an open wound. What’s funny now is whether I am understood or not, the writing continues, the story rolls on, the…

… once again, a celebration of the signing of the Declaration of Independence … and again I tried to put myself in the mind set of those who committed everything including their lives to pursue and attain freedom for the approximately 2,400,000 people who lived in the colonies at the time. The signers of the Declaration of Independence … lots of other links on these pages that are worth reading … I doubt if they would recognize the country we have become, but thanks to the genius in how they framed the Declaration and later the Constitution, they set in motion and established what is still the…
