Arizona News – Overnight closures of Interstate 17 at J.W. Powell Boulevard near Pulliam Airport in Flagstaff are scheduled the week of June 17-20. Verde Valley News – The Yavapai County Mounted Sheriff’s Posse presented a check for $7,000 to the Yavapai College Foundation on May 21 for scholarships for deserving county high school students. Sedona, AZ — The Sedona-Oak Creek Airport Authority (SOCAA) announces the beginning of the wildfire fighting season here in the local area as the National Forest Service directed a UH-60 helicopter to regionally pre-position to the Sedona Airport  as of Tuesday, June 4th.
