Sedona News – The city of Sedona’s Parks and Recreation Department invites all who are interested to register for the wood-bat adult recreational softball league before June 3, 2022.

Both men and women are welcome to participate. While teams can be coed, the league will follow the Amateur Softball Association (ASA) Men’s Adult Softball League rules and regulations. Players must be 16 years of age or older. The team registration fee is $350 with no player’s fees.

Games will be played on Thursday evenings beginning in mid-June at Posse Grounds Park through the month of August.

Managers/coaches can register and pay for their teams online at www.sedonaaz.gov/sports. There will be a mandatory manager/coaches meeting for all registered teams at the Posse Grounds Park softball field ramada after registration has closed to discuss league rules, regulations and tournament play.

Looking to play but don’t have a team to join? Place your name on the pick-up list by going online to www.sedonaaz.gov/sports and signing up on the Free-Agent List.

Additionally, the city seeks scorekeepers and umpires to work during the season. Visit www.sedonaaz.gov/jobs for details on either position.
