Clarkdale AZ (July 13, 2021) – Members of the public are invited to attend the Yavapai College Verde Valley Open House on Saturday, August 7, from 10 a.m. to noon. The campus is located at 601 West Black Hills Drive in Clarkdale.
Tour YC’s new Skilled Trades Center and learn more about the certificates that will be offered starting in the fall semester (classes begin August 16). Learn how Yavapai College will pay for your tuition for the whole fall semester when you enroll in classes at the Verde Valley Skilled Trades Center.

Tour YC’s new brewing facility and learn more about the Brewing Technology Certificate that will be offered beginning in the fall semester (www.yc.edu/brewing).
Visit the Verde Valley campus on August 7 to meet staff and faculty members and learn more about the following programs and tour our new labs:
- New Greenhouse used in the Horticulture Program
- New Nursing Labs
- New Phlebotomy Lab
- New Fabrication Lab that houses CNC and Pre-Engineering
- New lab space for EMT program
“At our open house, we’re excited to let people know we will be back in person for the fall semester,” said Director of Admission, Wendy Present. “We will be showcasing and answering questions about our Verde programs, and we’ll also be doing campus tours, giving away YC branded items, and helping students register for the upcoming fall semester.”
Visitors will also have the opportunity to take part in scholarship giveaways during the open house.
