Yavapai County Sheriff's OfficePrescott AZ (January 2, 2021) – Starting January 1st and continuing through January 22, Yavapai Silent Witness will be running its 47th CATCH 22 Program.  During this 22-day period We will be highlighting one fugitive each day in an attempt to garner the public’s assistance in locating these individuals so law enforcement can take them into custody.  Each day through January 22nd a new fugitive will be highlighted, and a $500.00 cash reward will be offered for information that leads to the arrest of the fugitive.  This program is very successful leading to the arrest of 101 felons and paying almost $50,000 in rewards since its inception.  So let’s get started.

It’s Day 2 of Yavapai Silent Witness’ CATCH 22 Program.  Today Yavapai County Law Enforcement is asking for your help in locating wanted fugitive Nelson Lisandro Ordonez.   In the evening hours of February 2, 2018, Ordonez was involved in two car rollover collision in the area of Southbound I17 near Milepost 252.  Witnesses stated Ordonez was driving very aggressively prior to entering the victim’s lane and colliding with her car causing her car to leave the roadway and roll.  Both vehicles were damaged, and Ordonez fled the scene on foot.  The victim was transported to the hospital for her injuries.

The next day Ordonez was dropped off at the YCSO substation in Black Canyon City by a concerned motorist where a trooper with the Arizona Department of Public Safety placed him under arrest.  Follow-up investigation revealed the vehicle was stolen at the time Ordonez was involved in the collision. He is no longer in custody and has not dealt with his charges.
