Sedona AZ (November 30, 2020) – Out of an abundance of caution and due to rapidly rising COVID-19 cases, the city of Sedona is cancelling the Visit with Santa event scheduled for Dec. 5, 2020.
“We were really looking forward to holding this event, but even with all the safety precautions we had planned, it’s not a good idea to gather large groups right now,” said Ali Baxter, recreation coordinator II, city of Sedona.
The city’s Parks and Recreation Department wishes everyone a happy holiday season and looks forward to hosting events again in 2021 when it is safe to do so.

A hearty ” thank you ” to Ali Baxter and the City of Sedona for this cancellation. Large crowds are virus spreading events and we need not follow the White House idiot lead in holding them. Santa thinks so too.
