… part art, part photograph this image of a grackle moves from the dark into the light … an experience we can relate to as each day begins with familiar surroundings gradually taking shape as the darkness fades and morning light takes illuminates all … for a while, and then the cycle repeats … forever and forever.

A beautiful day today and another great one is underway … time for me to complete the days cycle too. Into the weekend and the plans are to return Monday morning. Keep breathing … keep smiling.

    Cheers

Though I know I shall sometime no more open
my eyes to the night or the day,

I am one who looks at the stars when unchained from
    the work bench at nightfall.

They are a sign that I am not ephemeral. nor you, nor
    you, whoever you are.

The dawn comes and the dark and the sign sparkling
in the brooding night forever and forever.
