… perhaps after seeing other strange winged things landing at the Sedona airport it would seem normal to individuals like me and this blue heron to see what the attraction is. After all the GBH gets to land anywhere it pleases, but these other strange things always seem to come in here … so with perfect alignment on the center line our winged friend gives it a shot. Huge flat surface, no obstructions and thousands could come in at once … now if only there was a pond with fish in it he would see a benefit in coming in here.

If you are in the area, Tomorrow, January 22nd  I’m giving a presentation to the Northern Arizona Audubon Society at the Sedona Public Library off of Dry Creek Road just west of 89A. Time is 6PM and hope to see you there … lots of new photos. The public is welcome and admission is free. Check their website out at: http://www.northernarizonaaudubon.org/?p=5670

Have a beautiful day, keep breathing (at least until after the show) and smile. We are blessed.

    Cheers

Go placidly amid the noise and haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence. As far as possible, without surrender, be on good terms with all persons. Speak your truth quietly and clearly, and listen to others, even the dull and ignorant; they too have their story. Avoid loud and aggressive persons, they are vexatious to the spirit.

If you recently moved to Sedona, you may notice that every four years, residents vote on something called Home Rule. The July 21 vote is simply about who controls Sedona’s city budget.

    No Home Rule

Home Rule allows the city government, Staff with limitations, and Council to spend any money they have on any project they want without regard to voter input.
