    … pretty well sums up my day as I set out to just have a quiet day … anything that could be put off for a day or more was put off.

    Relaxing cups of coffee and strawberries, the big fancy ones and a wee bit of chocolate to finish them off. Went over to a friends to see the 4’ x 8’ metal print I did for him and was amazed at just how good the detail is. Got my initial order of greeting cards so they are ready to go, but I put off the work on the website to display them for sale … it was that kind of day. One got her outing before the rain started and that was about the extent of my accomplishments for the day. I even watched a Russian disaster film and it was about as good as any USA disaster film … they all kinda … here you insert your opinion.

    Tomorrow a more disciplined day … or not. It feels good at the end of the day to have accomplished what you set out to do, even if it is nothing.

    I took this shot a few weeks ago and shows a great blue heron just ready to plant his left foot on the ground, followed by the right a few inches in front of it … maybe a little hop or two and then tuck those magnificent wings in. The feathers get a little chaotic as the airspeed drops below stall speed and he transitions out of flight.

    Have a beautiful day, keep breathing and be a blessing to those you interact with today … and smile.

    Impose upon yourself the task of happiness;
    And now and then abandon yourself
    To the joy of laughter.
