… of a second a lot can happen and in the image tonight I melded 3 consecutive shots which were taken at a rate of 12 frames per second, thus the quarter of a second. They are of a Cormorant that was taking off from a rock in Watson Lake last October … totally different subject matter than of late, but I retain the miracle and beauty of flight which is a recurring theme in my photography … wildlife just have the advantage … no need for new propellers, annual inspections and the like. They do face danger on the annual migration south though, as this is the time of hunting seasons. I used to hunt waterfowl and glad I did because I learned many lessons about life … now I hunt with my cameras, but still support organizations such as Ducks Unlimited which does an amazing job maintaining and restoring wetlands for waterfowl and other creatures … and that benefits the wildlife and us. Anyhow, I hope you enjoy the sequence of life in action.

It was a neat day today with nothing significant accomplished, but the joy of visiting with friends, doing household chores and drinking a number of wonderful lattes made with Greenwell Farms Grade A Fancy pure Kona coffee beans. Want great coffee? Roast your own and the person to contact is Jon Burman at www.burmancoffee.com , I’ve been buying green beans and roasting my own for about ten years now. Once you taste it, you can never go back. So visit the website and give Jon a call …

Time to wrap the day and Wednesday is already here and it looks like it will be a good day … five or more shots of great espresso will get the day off and running in about six hours. Have a beautiful day and delight in all that comes your way … smile a lot too.

    Cheers

O sweet content! Where is thy mild abode where I may dwell in endless peace?
Show me the much sought road and give the lease.
The answer came, “Then cease to vainly roam in search of me, for thou wilt find
My quiet, hidden home within thy mind.”
