… the view is spectacular and you can see forever … or nearly so. I took this shot the 30th of September in 2016 and was treated to vistas of low level clouds covering much of the Colorado Plateau with volcanic cones peeking up through the clouds and this amazing collection of peaks in this photo. Near cones from left are Sunset Crater and to the right of it O’Leary Peak. On the horizon from the left you have the San Francisco Peaks and at the base of thee right side of the peaks you can see Kendrick Peak also wreathed in clouds. It was a fun day to be up there and perhaps this fall will present more opportunities like this.

A quiet weekend as I play couch potato and spend a ridiculous amount of time watch an old series on Amazon Prime, to wit, “Chuck”. 2 seasons down and 3 to go. Not exactly stimulating, but it is a fun well done series.

Another new week is underway and hope yours is filled with joy and all good things.

Smile, a truly a thing of natural beauty.

    Cheers

For a few hours here in the still morning I wash myself clean of civilization, and purge myself of things and the accumulated rubbish of time.
I push back history, dismiss interpreters, and stand erect before the dawn, looking the universe in the face, and asking my own questions.
Tomorrow I shall return to the human wheels; but now I defy the world of customs and laws, of sophistry and serfdom; and I yield myself childlike
to the light and the air and the sweet scented dew.
