… on days like this my mind wanders to beautiful places and somehow always seems to end up at the sea. I took this shot a couple of years ago near Monterey, Ca when the surf was really up … the waves were running around fifteen feet and the sound of the waves crashing on the beach drowned out all other sounds and you could feel it travel through your body … I am in constant awe of the forces of nature on this ever changing planet we call home. Species come and species go, some evolve and others cannot adopt and disappear from the scene and that is how it always has been and always will be … the day will come when our species no longer will be found here or elsewhere. A recent cartoon I saw brought a lesson home … a beached whale was telling the well meaning crowd to quit pushing him back into the ocean, because he could not evolve if we kept pushing him back in … kinda silly, but a point to keep in mind … by trying to preserve the status quo for us and other creatures we are defying the natural evolutionary laws … everything has its time, including us.

A quiet day coming up and now well underway … methinks it shall be a good day filled with exciting events like breathing, smiling and celebrating life … wow, and fueled by espresso made with Greenwell Farms Fancy A grade Kona coffee. Smooth and a uniquely delicious flavor. Fresh roast … two days ago. Check out roasting your own and call or email Jon Burman at www.burmanncoffee.com or buy it pre-roasted at Amazon https://www.amazon.com/Hawaiian-Coffee-Extra-Roasted-16-ounce/dp/B0030IEZUA/ref=sr_1_1_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1526462415&sr=8-1&keywords=greenwell%2Bfarms%2Bfancy%2Ba%2Bgrade%2Bkona%2Bcoffee&th=1  There simply isn’t a better coffee than this.

No more waking up at 3:30AM … back to my normal hours. Have a beautiful day, keep breathing and enjoy today … smile … we’re actually here!!!

    Cheers

For a few hours here in the still morning I wash myself clean of civilization, and purge myself of things and the accumulated rubbish of time.
I push back history, dismiss interpreters, and stand erect before the dawn, looking the universe in the face, and asking my own questions.
Tomorrow I shall return to the human wheels; but now I defy the world of customs and laws, of sophistry and serfdom; and I yield myself childlike
to the light and the air and the sweet scented dew.
