… a beautiful Cardinal came for a visit over the weekend whilst One and I were out on the deck enjoying a blustery Spring day. He was trying to call a mate in I think and spent several minutes going from branch to branch while continuing his plea for a mate to join him. I had the Canon 1DX with the “new” 100/400 lens and got 100 plus shots in a relatively short time and most of them were excellent shots, but still the cull has to occur and get it down to a half dozen or so of the best. Pretty sure this one will make the cut. Again, I took license with the background and I like it better that way.

Into a new week and lots of adventures lie ahead of us. I’m thinking it will be good and filled with joy.

I’m going to be out of town tomorrow and the plan is to return on Tuesday, so there will be no photo Tuesday morning. I’ll resume on Wednesday morning and do a makeup Friday morning.

Have a beautiful day, share your joy … a smile will do the trick!

    Cheers

At nightfall…though I know I shall sometime no more
Open my eyes to the light or day, I am one who looks at stars when
Unchained from the work-bench at Nightfall.
They are a sign that I am not ephemeral,
Not you, nor you, whoever you are.
The dawn comes and the dark and the sign sparkling in the brooding night,
    Forever and forever.

      Hi Ted,
Hope you’re doing well…..it looks like you continue to enjoy each day! Love it!
Thus image is wonderful and I like how you massaged it. I can see this printed about 32×48 on fabric! I would make a wall hanging of it and it would always make me smile…and think of our Sedona friend.
      Blessings!
