Sedona AZ (October 18, 2011) – Mary Cravets, founder of highly popular Speed Networking events, just announced the appointment of her Sedona Event Partner, Terra Farrar of Speak It – Package It – Sell It.

“Terra was enthusiastic about being involved in this event right away,” says Cravets. “And she’s already doing a great job getting the word out to make the November 9th event a great success!”

photo marycravets“Being new to Sedona, I was looking for a way to meet new people, and give back to the community that has been so welcoming,” says Farrar. “At previous events, I watched how businesses gained exposure to new people, and learned to network in a concise and easy manner, thanks to Mary’s expertise. I’m proud to be her local partner.”

Speed Networking is kind of like “speed dating”, where within a short period of time, business people meet, exchange information, and discover new avenues to give and receive business referrals. All businesses, whether professional, home-based, service, solo, or corporate, are invited to the November 9th event.

Sponsored by Monique Stecklein, CPA, Lakota Grace Baker of Face to the Sun Counseling, and Olin Robie of North Star Direct Marketing, the next event is scheduled for November 9th at the Elks Lodge on Airport Road in Sedona. For details, contact Terra Farrar at Terra.Farrar@suddenlink.com or see the event page at www.tinyurl.com/SedonaNov9.

It Takes a Lifetime and Sometimes Even More

Sedona, AZ — It takes a lifetime (perhaps lifetimes) of stretching and expanding, ripping and tearing, just to move through one’s predispositions, to meet one’s inbred resistance and evolve to the grace of simple tolerance. During this precious part of the journey, it feels like you are taking the steps, are choosing right, left or straight ahead, that you are in the game.
