Workshops on Economy and  Sustainability

Sedona AZ (October 5, 2011) – The Community Plan workshop on Economy & Prosperity is this Wed. Oct. 5 at 6:00 p.m. at the Jewish Community of Sedona and the Verde Valley located at 100 Meadowlark Drive, off Hwy. 179. A diverse group of panelists will respond to your questions and comments about the future of Sedona’s economy and the region.

The panelists are: Debra Emmanuelle, Verde Valley Food Council; Ira Marxe, entrepreneur; John Neville, President, Sustainable Arizona; Robyn Prudhomme-Bauer, Verde Valley Regional Economic Organization; Casey Rooney, Cottonwood Economic Development Director; Tom Schumacher, Dean of Yavapai College, Clarkdale Campus; and Jennifer Wesselhoff, President and CEO, Sedona Chamber of Commerce.

The workshop on Sustainability will be held the following week on Wed., Oct. 12 at 6:00 p.m. at the West Sedona School. The public will have an opportunity to discuss a set of facilitated questions in small groups and share their vision of sustainability for Sedona.
