    While the legislature mulls an unprecedented change to the state’s conflict-of-interest laws, Andy Tobin is being asked to resign from the Arizona Corporation Commission. Former legislators and current ACC candidates, Bill Mundell and Tom Chabin called for Tobin’s resignation immediately, expecting any weakening of the conflict laws to be challenged — ultimately at the expense of Arizona’s taxpayers.       At the 33:45 mark here , watch attorney Tom Ryan school a largely clueless Arizona House Appropriations Committee on conflict of interest law and how it pertains to the Andy Tobin Protection Act that they are stupidly about to pass. About one of the committee members “gets” it. The rest are almost painful to watch.
